On Wednesday Nights at 6 p.m. we offer several different spiritual formation options. We typically offer the following classes:
Book of the Bible Study
This group is led by either one of our pastors or a church member who is on the faculty of Hardin-Simmons University in the School of Theology. It is an in-depth study of one of the books of the Bible.
DivorceCare
FIND HELP | DISCOVER HOPE | EXPERIENCE HEALING
Meets in Room 300 located on the third floor of the Education Building. Come join us and learn how to heal from the wounds of divorce. We have a core group of DivorceCare members who come and share their stories.
DivorceCare has touched hundreds of thousands of lives in groups meeting worldwide:
“This is an amazing class, it is a life changer”
“AMAZING group. I would’ve been lost without this class and group to get me through the worst time of my life”
“If this wasn’t available, I’d still be home crying.”
“I know that I am not alone.”
“The best thing I’ve done for myself and my family since my husband left me.”
“You got me through!”
“It saved my life.”
“I feel hope again.”
“I have rejoined the land of the living.”
“Most informative and healing class I’ve ever attended.”
“I cried. I laughed. I made new friends. I came closer to God.”
You are welcome to begin attending the DivorceCare group on any week. Each session is “self-contained,” and you can continue through the next cycle to view any of the topics you have not seen.

GriefShare
Meeting in Room 313, GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Led by Steve Queen, Director of the Ministry of Counseling and Enrichment here at First Baptist Church.
