On Wednesday Nights at 6 p.m. we offer several different spiritual formation options. This fall, we have the following classes:
FIND HELP | DISCOVER HOPE | EXPERIENCE HEALING
Meets in Room 300 located on the third floor of the Education Building. Come join us and learn how to heal from the wounds of divorce. We have a core group of DivorceCare member that come and share their stories.
DivorceCare has touched hundreds of thousands of lives in groups meeting worldwide:
“This is an amazing class, it is a life changer”
“AMAZING group. I would’ve been lost without this class and group to get me through the worst time of my life”
“If this wasn’t available, I’d still be home crying.”
“I know that I am not alone.”
“The best thing I’ve done for myself and my family since my husband left me.”
“You got me through!”
“It saved my life.”
“I feel hope again.”
“I have rejoined the land of the living.”
“Most informative and healing class I’ve ever attended.”
“I cried. I laughed. I made new friends. I came closer to God.”
You are welcome to begin attending the DivorceCare group on any week. Each session is “self-contained,” and you can continue through the next cycle to view any of the topics you have not seen.

Meeting in Room 313, GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Led by Steve Queen, Director of the Ministry of Counseling and Enrichment here at First Baptist Church.
Single & Parenting
We have two classes meeting this fall, Part 1 and Part 2. It is designed that one would complete the first part before taking the second part as they build on the concepts offered in part 1. It is a program that helps single parents find practical help and encouragement as they seek to successfully guide their children into adulthood. This is a video/discussion based time and allows plenty of time for questions and answers. Part 1 is led by Paul Irby and Part 2 is led by Stacey Collins. They meet in rooms 306 and 308.
Jennifer Rothschild Bible Study
Meeting in Room 304, this video-based Bible study is entitled: Missing Pieces: real hope when life doesn’t make sense. The study is designed for women of all ages.
Walking with Christ Every Day
C.V. Blake, Pastor for Adults, will be leading this Bible study/discussion group each week in Room 314. Each week he will focus on an unique topic, but overall, will use the book of Romans as his guide.
