This home-group seeks to provide a place for young people to nurture roots in their faith, spirituality, and community in this unique and significant formational time in your life. This group meets on Sunday evenings at 6:30. This time serves as an opportunity to gather on a weekly basis and deepen our understanding of biblical texts and their implication on our lives. Humor, insight, and questions are all brought to these discussions. For the address please contact Matthew Broyles.
**We are currently studying the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7 along with “The Cost of Discipleship” by Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
Ten Twenty-Five: Post-Grad Adults
Ten Twenty-Five is named in reference to Hebrews 10:24-25 which states, “And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day approaching” (NRSV). This group meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in Room 314 on the third floor. Ten Twenty-Five is not exclusively a married class but does provide opportunity to often focus on marriage and share life with those who are exploring and/or living out this important life commitment. Teachers for this class are Rocky and Amy McAdams and David and Jane Todd.
Difference Makers is a group whose purpose is not only to make a difference in their own lives, but also make a difference in the surrounding community. This group is primarily married couples in their 30s but not exclusively so. The Difference Makers class meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in Room 308 on the third floor.
***Each class has regular social events. Check back here for more info.
