Home Group Study
This home-group is hosted by David and Jenny Spruiell. It seeks to provide a place for young people to nurture roots in their faith, spirituality, and community. This group meets on Monday evenings at 6:30. This time serves as an opportunity to gather on a weekly basis to deepen our faith and understanding of how God is working in our lives and the world around us. We start with eating dinner with each other followed by Bible study and discussion. We know honest faith comes with honest questions, so we want to address our questions together as we seek to become more like Christ. For the address or more information, please contact Matthew Broyles at email@example.com or (325) 675-8115.
**We are currently doing a video study of “Get Our of Your Head” by Jennie Allen via Right Now Media. Would love for you to join us!
Ten-25 is named in reference to Hebrews 10:24-25 which states, “And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day approaching” (NRSV). Currently, this group meets on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. in Room 308 on the third floor. We meet with the Difference Makers class for teaching and then break out into our class for discussion. Ten-25 is not exclusively a married class but does provide opportunity to often focus on marriage and share life with those who are exploring and/or living out this important life commitment.
Difference Makers is a group whose purpose is not only to make a difference in their own lives, but also make a difference in the surrounding community. This group is primarily married couples in their 30s but not exclusively so. Currently, this group meets on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. in Room 308 on the third floor. We meet with the Ten-25 class for teaching and then break out into our class for discussion.
On Wednesday nights, young adults can participate in church-wide events including dinner which is served from 5:00-5:45 in the church dining room ($5 for adults) as well as a selection of Wednesday night adult discipleship classes at 6:00.
