Our preschool ministry is a place of love, fun, and growth, and we are committed to making it a wonderful experience for every child. With the support of our volunteers and families, we create a Christ-centered environment where children can thrive.
Sunday Morning & Wednesday Night Preschool
The preschool ministry is a special place for children birth to pre-k. We are thankful for the opportunity to help preschoolers learn about the love of Jesus during these formative years. First Baptist Church believes each child is a special gift from God and looks forward to watching children grow in Christ through Sunday school, music, missions, and various other activities throughout the year.
Programs are offered each Sunday morning and Wednesday night as well as special events during the year!
Sunday Morning Schedule

Families should check into the nursery area near the north entrance of the church, off North 3rd Street.
Staff will be present to answer questions and help in any way.

First Friends Preschool
As a ministry of First Baptist Church, our goal is to provide activities and guidance as children learn about the love of Jesus. Our Preschool program strives to enrich the spiritual, academic, physical, emotional, and social development of children ages birth to pre-K.
What We Do
First Friends Preschool, a ministry of First Baptist Church, is a Mother’s Day Out held two days a week for ages 6 weeks through Pre-K.
Our program hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Mother’s Day Out
Mother’s Day Out for ages 6 weeks to 2 years, is a program designed to provide parents with a regular block of time that is separate from their children to meet personal and family needs. This provides children opportunities to learn social, verbal, and language skills as well as work on gross and fine motor skills. Children are introduced to a foundation of recognition for letters, numbers, shapes, colors, etc., which translate to preschool.
Preschool
Our Preschool program, for ages 3 years to 5 years, strives to enrich the spiritual, academic, physical, emotional, and social development of children. Our purpose is to create an environment in which each child learns and develops to the best of his/her ability through a high quality curriculum and various programs. As a ministry of First Baptist Church, our goal is to provide activities and guidance as children learn about the love of Jesus. Services offered include, but are not limited to: Spanish, Sign Language, Music, & Chapel.
2025-2026 Tuition: $190 per month and is due on the first of each month.
Registration Fee: $75.00 per year (non-refundable)
Special Activities fee: $50.00 per year (non-refundable)
If payment is not received by the 15th of the month a $15 late fee will be charged.
Multiple Child Discounts:
There will be a discount of $15 per child, after the first for multiple children enrolled in our program.
