Women are a vital part of the First Baptist Church community. FBC offers options for small group, Bible study gatherings, and retreats designed specifically for women. These are opportunities for women of all ages to study God’s word and grow spiritually, as well as spend time together developing personal relationships.
Opportunities that are currently available or are upcoming:
Revelation Part 1 – Tuesdays from 1-3 p.m. – Joyce Daffern will lead this study – We will claim the blessing of Rev 1:3 as we read and study in depth the hope we have for the future through God’s promises, provision, and protection for His people during end times.
Every woman longs for someone to protect and care for her – someone to guide her when she’s not sure of her next steps, to provide rest when she’s worn out, to walk with her when the valley is dark. God is the Good Shepherd whose companionship provides the comfort and confidence every woman needs. No matter what season a woman finds herself in, she is safe with her Shepherd. Join us for a Study by Jennifer Rothschild, Psalm 23: The Shepherd With Me, led by Becky Tucker, Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Call 675-8105 for more information.
Women’s Bible Study led by Kristian Spencer on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. The enemy wants us to feel rejected…left out, lonely, and less than. When we allow him to speak lies through our rejection, he pickpockets our purpose; cripples our courage; dismantles our dreams; and blinds us to the beauty of Christ’s powerful love. Join us for a Study by Lysa TerKeurst, Uninvited: Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely.
Women’s Bible Study led by Reagan Berry on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Most people have prayed for something or someone in earnest, seeking God’s will, only to be left confused by God’s response. Sometimes we ask, “Why would a good God allow bad things to happen to good people?” In Amazed and Confused by Heather Zempel, we will tackle this question head-on by exploring the book of Habakkuk.
